Magna Careline has won the contract to act as business continuity partner for Aberdeen City Council’s lifeline alarm customers.

The recently finalised contract ensures that, in the case of any problems with Aberdeen City Council’s regional control centre, Magna Careline will step in and provide a seamless service to the 22,000 lifeline connections affected.
Tanya Grant, Magna Careline’s general manager, said: “Being selected to provide this emergency back-up service is a testament to the quality service delivered by our control centre team.”
Magna Careline is a telecare monitoring service used by thousands of people across the UK. As well as helping people to retain their independence in their own homes, the service also handles calls for commercial customers to provide business continuity 24 hours a day and offers protection for lone workers.
